OR Nurse (PRN) – Surgery
Acts as the patient's advocate and works as a member of the surgical team is knowledgeable in the areas of aseptic technique, infection control, emergency procedures, and general operating room procedures. Functions as an RN to meet patient and family care needs. Works under normal supervision providing nursing care to patients at an advanced level of practice. Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program. Minimum of 2 years OR Nursing experience. Must possess a valid Louisiana RN license, current BLS and ACLS certification. PALS preferred.
Orderly (Full Time) – Surgery
Responsible for providing direct and indirect care of the patient under the direction of nursing staff. Transports patients, beds, lab specimens, blood products, and other medical items to various areas of the hospital, assists in cleaning and disinfecting operating rooms, assists with ensuring rooms and carts are stocked with supplies. High School graduate or equivalent. One year prior experience working in the OR is preferred. Basic life support certification required.
Staff RN (PRN)– Med Surg
Responsible for the care of patients, administers medication and treatments as ordered by the physician. Coordinates care with other disciplines such as physical therapy, respiratory therapy, lab and pharmacy. Responsible to participate in a professional manner in all aspects of patient care. Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program. (Associates or Bachelors). Minimum of 1 year Med/Surg Nursing experience. Must possess a valid Louisiana RN license and a current CPR and ACLS certification. PALS preferred.
