Housekeeper (Full Time) – Housekeeping Dept.
Performs a variety of general cleaning tasks of patient rooms, nursing units, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors & other assigned areas of the facility in a neat & sanitary manner. Work also includes distributing clean linens to user departments and maintaining stock levels on nursing floors. 1-2 years of experience in hospital/medical clinic cleaning.
Floor Technician/Housekeeper (Full Time) – Housekeeping Dept.
Performs a variety of general cleaning tasks of patient rooms, nursing units, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors & other assigned areas of the facility in a neat & sanitary manner. Responsible to continuously make rounds of the hospital to determine floor care needs. Strips old floor finish, prepares and recoats hard floor surfaces. 1-2 years of experience in hospital/medical clinic cleaning. Previous floor care experience preferred.
Receptionist (Full Time) – Admitting
Acts as the representative of the center in making the initial contact with the patient, either in person or by phone, and who is responsible for the efficient operation of the front office to include filing, chart preparation, typing and phones. Will also float in other positions of the Admitting department which ensures the accuracy of patient information, obtains all necessary forms and upfront payments, and guides the patient through the admissions process. Reviews insurance information to verify the correct coordination of benefits, explains financial responsibility to patients, and collects any required co-payments, coinsurance, and/or deductibles. High School graduate or equivalent. Two years’ experience working with insurance in a medical setting.
OR Nurse (Part Time & PRN) – Surgery
Acts as the patient's advocate and works as a member of the surgical team is knowledgeable in the areas of aseptic technique, infection control, emergency procedures, and general operating room procedures. Functions as an RN to meet patient and family care needs. Works under normal supervision providing nursing care to patients at an advanced level of practice. Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program. Minimum of 2 years OR Nursing experience. Must possess a valid Louisiana RN license, current BLS and ACLS certification. PALS preferred.
OR Technician (PRN) - Surgery
Responsible for the safe transport of patients and the correct handling/transport of blood products, specimens, X-rays, equipment and supplies, a clean surgical environment and other patient care related duties in the OR suite. Also responsible for the sterilization, decontamination, delivery and distribution of instruments and supplies within the surgical suites. Graduation from an Accredited Surgical Technology institute. Current Certification as a Certified Surgical Technician (CST) and CPR certification required.
Staff ICU RN (Full Time & PRN) – Med Surg
Responsible for the care of patients, administers medication and treatments as ordered by the physician. Coordinates care with other disciplines such as physical therapy, respiratory therapy, lab and pharmacy. Responsible to participate in a professional manner in all aspects of patient care. Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program. (Associates or Bachelors). Minimum of 2 year Med/Surg Nursing experience and 1 year ICU experience. Must possess a valid Louisiana RN license and a current CPR and ACLS certification. PALS preferred.
Phlebotomist (PRN) – LAB
Performs a variety of venipuncture techniques and collects blood specimens from patients in support of laboratory procedures used in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. High School graduate or equivalent. Successful completion of a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy program. Six months experience as a phlebotomist preferred. BLS certification required.
