OR Nurse (PRN) – Surgery
Description Functions as an RN to meet patient and family care needs. Works under normal supervision providing nursing care to patients at an advanced level of practice. Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program. Minimum of 2 years OR Nursing experience. Must possess a valid Louisiana RN license, current BLS and ACLS certification. PALS preferred.

Sterile Processing Tech (Full Time) – Surgery
Responsible for assisting in a smooth flow of events before, during and after the surgical procedure for all patients. Assists in overseeing the surgical instrumentation and supplies according to AORN recommended guidelines and universal precautions to decontamination and sterilization, surgical care case preparation and distribution. Practices in accordance with all regulatory, professional, legal and medical policies. High school graduate. One year surgery, medical office, or sanitary maintenance experience. CBSPD or IAHCSMM certification required.
Medical Lab Tech or Medical Tech (PRN) – Lab
Perform testing primarily in accordance with established laboratory policy and procedure. Primary responsibilities include performing and evaluating analytical tests, assessing, interpreting and reporting results, maintaining accurate laboratory records and records of testing. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in an accredited Medical Tech program. Current MLT or MT certification or registration, current MLT or MT Louisiana license, and phlebotomy skills required.
OR Technician (PRN and Full Time) - Surgery
Responsible for the safe transport of patients and the correct handling/transport of blood products,  specimens, X-rays, equipment and supplies, a clean surgical environment and other patient care related duties in the OR suite. Also responsible for the sterilization, decontamination, delivery and distribution of instruments and supplies within the surgical suites. Graduation from an Accredited Surgical Technology institute. Current Certification as a Certified Surgical Technician (CST) and CPR certification required.

Staff RN (PRN) – Med Surg
Responsible for the care of patients, administers medication and treatments as ordered by the physician. Coordinates care with other disciplines such as physical therapy, respiratory therapy, lab and pharmacy. Responsible to participate in a professional manner in all aspects of patient care. Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program. (Associates or Bachelors).Minimum of 1 year Med/Surg Nursing experience. Must possess a valid Louisiana RN license and a current CPR and ACLS certification. PALS preferred.

Radiology/OR/CT Technologist - Radiology Dept.
Performs OR/Pain C-Arm procedures.  Works under minimal supervision performing all radiology and CT procedures. Produces quality images in three imaging modalities in x-ray and CT. Performs CT procedures and related functions producing images for interpretation by licensed practitioners. Minimum 2 years CT experience. 3 years C-Arm experience required. Must possess a valid Louisiana radiology license, ARRT and current CPR, CRT & venipuncture certifications.

Dietician (PRN) – Kitchen/Dietary
Provides patient care through analyzing, evaluating and implementing nutritional assessment by providing medical nutrition therapy to patients, including nutrition assessment, modified diet formulation, self-management training and nutrition intervention. Documents all aspects of patient’s nutritional status and maintains patient’s records that are organized and complete.  Provides education and support to all surgery patients and their families with relevant nutritional education as appropriate to the patient’s disease state. Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition.  Two years clinical experience required. Current Licensure of registered Dietician in State of Louisiana, current Commission on Dietetics Registration (CDR) required   American Dietetic Association – (ADA) membership preferred.  BLS Certification required.
