OR Nurse (Full Time) – Surgery
Acts as the patient's advocate and works as a member of the surgical team is knowledgeable in the areas of aseptic technique, infection control, emergency procedures, and general operating room procedures. Functions as an RN to meet patient and family care needs. Works under normal supervision providing nursing care to patients at an advanced level of practice. Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program. Minimum of 2 years OR Nursing experience. Must possess a valid Louisiana RN license, current BLS and ACLS certification. PALS preferred.
Sterile Processing Tech (Full Time) – Surgery
Responsible for assisting in a smooth flow of events before, during and after the surgical procedure for all patients. Assists in overseeing the surgical instrumentation and supplies according to AORN recommended guidelines and universal precautions of decontamination and sterilization, surgical case preparation and distribution. Practices in accordance with all regulatory and medical policies. High school graduate. One year surgery, medical office, or sanitary maintenance experience. CBSPD or IAHCSMM certification required.
OR Technician (Full Time) - Surgery
Responsible for the safe transport of patients and the correct handling/transport of blood products, specimens, X-rays, equipment and supplies, a clean surgical environment and other patient care related duties in the OR suite. Also responsible for the sterilization, decontamination, delivery and distribution of instruments and supplies within the surgical suites. Graduation from an Accredited Surgical Technology institute. Current Certification as a Certified Surgical Technician (CST) preferred. CPR certification required.
Cook (Full Time) – Kitchen/Dietary
Prepares and serves patient and cafeteria food with all applicable sanitation and hygiene standards. General upkeep of dining and kitchen area. Assists in stocking supplies. Three years in a food industry preferred.
Unit Secretary (Full Time) - Med Surg
Regulates the flow of information among patients, families, visitors and staff to facilitate routine unit activities. Coordinates care with other disciplines such as physical therapy, respiratory therapy, lab and pharmacy by demonstrating the ability to work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary healthcare team as a communication link between the department and other hospital departments.
Staff Charge Nurse (Full Time) – Med Surg
Responsible for the care of patients, administers medication and treatments as ordered by the physician. Coordinates care with other disciplines such as physical therapy, respiratory therapy, lab and pharmacy. Responsible to participate in a professional manner in all aspects of patient care. Job will require on call commitment including covering shifts as needed. Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program. Minimum of 5 year Med/Surg Nursing experience. Minimum of 2 year Charge Nurse/Management preferred. Must possess a valid Louisiana RN license, current BLS and ACLS certification. PALS preferred.
Staff ICU RN (Full Time Nights)– Med Surg
Responsible for the care of patients, administers medication and treatments as ordered by the physician. Coordinates care with other disciplines such as physical therapy, respiratory therapy, lab and pharmacy. Responsible to participate in a professional manner in all aspects of patient care. Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program. (Associates or Bachelors). Minimum of 2 year Med/Surg Nursing experience and 1 year ICU experience. Must possess a valid Louisiana RN license and a current CPR and ACLS certification. PALS preferred.
Credentialing Specialist– Administration
Under the direct supervision of the CEO/Administrator, this position provides administrative and secretarial support for the CEO/Administrator and will serve as coordinator for all medical staff credentialing. College degree preferred. General executive assistant to upper level management background, three years medical services and credentialing experience required. Certification as a Medical Staff Coordinator through NAMSS, CPMSM, CPCS, and certified Notary Public is preferred.
