Staff RN (Full Time Nights & Part Time Days) – Med Surg
Responsible for the care of patients, administers medication and treatments as ordered by the physician. Coordinates care with other disciplines such as physical therapy, respiratory therapy, lab and pharmacy. Responsible to participate in a professional manner in all aspects of patient care. Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program. (Associates or Bachelors).Minimum of 1 year Med/Surg Nursing experience. Must possess a valid Louisiana RN license and a current CPR and ACLS certification. PALS preferred.
Patient Care Tech (PRN) - Med Surg
Responsible to perform a variety of uncomplicated tasks in care of patients in hospital, under direction of nursing and medical staff. Works under the general supervision of the Registered Nurses providing professional nursing care according to established procedures, protocols and regulations. Graduate from high school is preferred. 1 year experience in Med/Surg preferred. BLS certification required.
OR Nurse – Surgery FT
Acts as the patient's advocate and works as a member of the surgical team is knowledgeable in the areas of aseptic technique, infection control, emergency procedures, and general operating room procedures. Functions as an RN to meet patient and family care needs. Works under normal supervision providing nursing care to patients at an advanced level of practice. Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program. Minimum of 2 years OR Nursing experience. Must possess a valid Louisiana RN license, current BLS and ACLS certification. PALS preferred.
Registered Dietitian (Full Time & PRN) – Kitchen/Dietary
Provides patient care through analyzing, evaluating and implementing nutritional assessment by providing medical nutrition therapy to patients, including nutrition assessment, modified diet formulation, self-management training and nutrition intervention. Documents all aspects of patient’s nutritional status and maintains patient’s records that are organized and complete. Provides education and support to all surgery patients and their families with relevant nutritional education as appropriate to the patient’s disease state. Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition. Two years clinical experience required. Current Licensure of registered Dietitian in State of Louisiana, current Commission on Dietetics Registration (CDR) required American Dietetic Association – (ADA) membership preferred. BLS Certification required.
